A South Carolina native by birth means that Angela is never too far from home. A proud Clemson Tiger with a degree in Civil Engineering, Angela found her way to Asheville with her college sweetheart in 2001. Their mutual love for hiking and mountain biking made Asheville a logical place to call home.
Angela has focused on Structural Engineering since receiving her degree in 1998. She began her career working for Davis and Floyd, Inc. in Greenwood, SC. She worked on the team that was responsible for designing the AASHTO Highway bridges along the Conway Bypass (SC-22.) Following that, she spent time continuing her training by designing commercial structures with Sutton Kennerly & Associates in Asheville, NC. Both of these opportunities provided her with the essential experience with design and construction management that she continues to draw on to this day.
Angela and Ben opened ISE 10 years ago, after the birth of their first daughter. Today, their firm has grown as has their family. They look forward to years of many new adventures and challenges. She is licensed in 11 states including: NC, NY, CT, NV, NM, SC, CO, MS, LA, VA, FL.
